Live in S La and about to start two separate buildings:
His 50'W x 150'L with 30'x50' lean to. The building will have 26gauge sheeting on roof and walls, columns will be 6"x1/4" steel tubing, roof beams are 12". Wall purlings are on 4' centers including one on bottom. This makes it nice and easy for sheathing with 4'x8' plywood. There is no wasted wall space as purlings and square tubes are all 6". The side wall height is 16'. The slab will be 4" 3000PSI with #6 mesh, 24"x24" footings with rebar. All structural components are designed for 120 mph hurricane wind loads. I plan for a slick finish on the concrete for ease of cleaning..
Hers will be 50'x50' w/ 20'x50 lean to with 10' side walls, same design as above.
Let's hear your comments, suggestions and concerns
