Found a NLA NOS smaller outer dog and a metal clutch cover for my favorite of this series. stock 445 70.7cc I tested this saw against a 372xp and MS440 DP muffler modded and the 445 was actually the faster in the cuts, which I couldnt believe till the guy there confirmed this to me.
I rebuilt all 3 saws and the 372 and 440 were strong runners for their class.

Like the smaller double dawgs over the huge west coast double dawgs you can still buy new.

Nice!

Too bad Poulan stopped making the 'good' saws. I am a fan of the older ones.

These ones are actually Partner designed and made in the Husqvarna plant for Poulan. Just like the PP 325 was and many of the others people like so well.

I missed that part of the Poulan era. Started with a 245A, then a 3400. 2001 I went with Husqvarna.

New piston kit for this PP365 and all new AV's, impulse line and intake boot for my dad 21 years of cutting on 3300. The I took the 365 out to break in and the 445 to cut some seasoned oak.

More pics being can only upload 4 at a time.

The 70.7cc quad port PP will out cut the MS440 with dual port muffler and 372xp in bucking cuts with 20" buried. I had all 3 to test. The PP just dont handle as nice being close to 1lb heavier PHO.
I grab this saw before I grab the 77cc and 83cc bigger brothers with single transfers.

Owner battled it for a month and I battled this thing for 2 days. Finally fixed with help from members at Chainsaw Repair site. Owner runs a 42" on it. I was testing with 16" and 24"
