Finally installed my Electronic-Hydraulic diverter & Stump-Grinder

One suggestion; I'd want to cut the stumps flush across the top where you felled the tree and left the standing 'wing' up, before running the grinder blade across the stump. I've never seen a grinder run against the standing wing before; but maybe the grinder manual says it's OK to do?

You're absolutely right ... unfortunately I was without a chainsaw as I killed mine last fall. Was waiting for warranty repair, and just got a new one a few days ago.

It doesn't hurt anything ... just takes more time

It was a Husqvarna, bought at TSC with a TSC extended warranty. The warranty company ended up "buying the saw back" so I went out shopping and picked up a new saw finally.

Picked up a Dolmar PS5105... very nice saw so far! The first thing I did when I started it was cut down a bunch of stumps.

GREENPOWER ... The grinder has been working very well. I've ground out about 35 stumps so far. ALL medium to large oaks or maples. I can't wait for the chance to grind some soft wood!

How's the LS doing?

I saw photos of the saw in the other thread, good looking saw!
I haven't even seen the LS since the end of March, soon though we will be using it.
