Good feedback on the bumpy ride. How would you guys rate this MMM for rougher terrain, in areas maybe a little less than bush hog material..... or should it strictly be used for lawns...

OK, found the thread. Like I said, hope this is of help to any BX25/BX24 owners. I believe the non-backhoe models use a different set up since the seat doesn't raise and swivel, but maybe something similar could be done.

Sorry to hear! I think you may have pulled a short straw out of many. I have worked the heck out of mine for less than a year and have more than 140hrs of rough work on it. No issues other than of my own doing... broken zerk, flat tire, puncture in seat from a screwdriver in my pocket. What a sweet machine. I hope you are behind the trouble when you get it back.A day in the life... hmmm. We bought the BX25D April 15. I put a few hours on it learning a bit more about it. When purchased, I had added the BH thumb but it was not in stock. It came in after about a week. During that week, I found out that ROPS knob was stripped and the rops mounted nut threads messed up. Also one of the stabilizers was extremely slow. 5 times as slow as the other. I am still learning at this point, but it went back to dealer for these items and the thumb installation. I got a call from the service manager who noticed during the "fix" for the stabilizer (control linkage adjustment) that the stabilizer valve was leaking. He ordered a "kit" for it but it had to come from Ohio and would take several days to arrive. The brought the tractor back so I could use it in the meantime until it arrived. I used it quite a bit waiting for the parts and learned the the BH Boom back (up) control had a problem. If the boom is partially lowered, and when pulling control slowly toward yourself, the boom would start to fall. If you stopped the control at that point, it would go all the way to the ground instead of up. So when it went back in for the stabilizer kit, they were going to look at the BH boom problem. They picked it up monday. I called to check on it wednesday and was told that they had ordered the whole control valve assy. I was told it would be ready friday. Its saturday night and no joy or tractor....I told them to be sure and test every function to be sure that it is OK. I love the tractor (27hrs), and think the dealer is doing a good job, but I am not impressed with Kubota quality control at this point.... This is more than a day in the life, but a little venting helps I hope to get it back early next week working well...
