I'm new and need help! I broke the steering sector on my Kioti LB2204 and can't get a new one. I have heard that some of the early '80's Kubota's will work but don't know which ones. A point in the right direction would be great.

Try contacting West Kentucky Tractor Parts - Kevil, Kentucky . They are showing LB1915 and LK 3054 models in stock..... may get lucky and find that one of those models used the same sector.

Hi, I have the same Kioti machine with broken steering. Did you ever find a fix for yours? Thanks for your help!
Hey. Sorry about your tractor but I do have the numbers for you. The sector shaft is a Sparex brand. S.66828 is the part number and that replaces SBA334130041. You will need to find a dealer and you should also buy some shims for the cap. The shaft fits perfect but the splined end is different. I bought one off the internet (used) but I think it comes off a Yanmar. (it was a pale green) The only other problem I had was the bolt that slides in the end for adjusting. I bought a metric bolt that fit the nut and chucked it in a drill press and ground the head to a circle that fit the end of the sector. Hope this will help!

Hi, My tractor is an 86 LB2044. So it may be a little different....The information I got from DOUGAB helped me find the parts I needed and get it working. My sector gear shaft was fine. I needed the steering shaft Nut and a Ball and Tube kit due to water getting into the steering case and freezing.
The numbers that fit mine are on the Sparex web site and were listed for Mitsubishi/Satoh compact tractors: Steering sector gear: S.66828 Steering shaft nut: S.70583 Steering Ball & Tube kit: S.70582
The measurements of the parts are listed on the site so you can compare them to yours before ordering. I got a good deal on my parts ordering them on-line from Reliable aftermarket parts, inc.

Sorry I gave you incorrect info. My tractor model is an LB2204.

Dragging up an old thread here as my shaft has broke for the second time in about 300 hours. If splines are different how did you work around this short of buying a matching steering arm ?
