Mahindra transaxle oil

I was checking the fluids on my Mahindra 3510. And realized that the oil the rear dipstick was low. Perhaps I have some seepage but more importantly what oil should I put into it. Gear oil, hydraulic oil.

Most tractors of today have multifunctional usage of the lube; wet brakes, tranny, diff, hydraulics, etc. TSC Premium Trans Hydraulic fluid meets the most stringent requirements out there as best I can tell. Read the applications on the back and they are current and numerous. Since JD is a popular brand, I find that J20C is the spec for the latest requirements for multi-use lube so I ensure that spec is on any fluid I purchase for my Branson.

In my 2002 - mahindra 4110 its trans/hydraulic fluid . I also have been using Tractor Supply premium trans/hydra fluids

Hey Buck
I checked the fluid again and it seemed fine. I was on a very slight slope....oops.

Turns out the fluid under the tractor was fuel. The fuel filter/shut off sediment trap was leaking. It had been repaired in the past as there was some jb weld on the filter housing at the flange of the plastic part.

I put on a Mercedes diesel pre filter on it and removed the unit. The leaks quit. For a permanent fix I am going to put on a VW fuel filter the same as on my old vw diesel car. It is a disposable can with two barbs for the fuel line and a removable bolt to bleed the system. Cost is less than 20 dollars. I spent more on the jumbo bottle of oil.
