I im looking at getting a massey 2605 for my small beef farm with low beam barns is that tractor good for that

I see no reason why it wouldn't be. 37.5hp is a good point for a really useful small tractor that should fairly fuel efficient. Our Kubota is 41hp and it's probably the most useful tractor here as far as everyday chores. Not familiar with a Simpson diesel but looks like MF has been making this tractor since '07. Looks like it's got some decent weight to it. What all do you plan on doing with it, loader work, cleaning stalls, baling hay, etc. ?

We need to take the role bars off it because of r low cattle barn and rite now i have a massey 135 and the 135 and 2605have the same back end and the same steering mec same back fenders

Can you get by with just folding the ROPS instead of taking it off? It's nice to have when moving bigger loads in open areas.

The barn hight is 6.5 ft tall

Have you considered the 2615? I think you get wet brakes and independent PTO when you go to that model. Maybe the 2605's have that too now but not sure. 2615's are sweet though

Ya but the 2605 is just like the 135

According to MF with the ROPS up it's 92" so you're looking at needing to get down to 77". I would think the with the ROPS down it might clear but they don't give that dimension.

My 2004 MF 461 has rops that fold and they are 72" I believe. I think the 2605 may have similar height
