Did anyone notice the first guy was giving a safety speech while driving the JD around with the ROPS folded down?
I know I have to lower mine to put it in a stall, if you are on flat ground I don't see a problem.....don't wear your seat belt.Did anyone notice the first guy was giving a safety speech while driving the JD around with the ROPS folded down?

I agree, but you don't know the situation that occurred during that clip. He may just have been pulling the eqt out of the barn for the camera shot. I have to lower my rops to pick up skids, or I will take out my roof........again.:banghead:Lots of people have been killed/maimed on flat ground. Brush hogging and a front tire hits a rock just right, instant flat, and the tractor rolls....stuff like that. The studies they've done say the typical roll happens in half a second....too fast to jump clear.
1. I have this thing about clicking on a link to someplace without any explanation at all about the gist of the link. Won't do it.
2. I have this thing about anyone telling me what I should do or what is important when it comes to safety. I am a person of reasonable intelligence and learned caution before I was a teenager. If you need the reminder, good. Don't tell me I need it.
3. I have this character flaw, I'm a curmudgeon.![]()
