Un-believable. Congress should commission a study and spend millions of dollars to find safer ways of consuming dairy products.

Scariest part of all is that I've consumed most or all of these products at some point. Thankfully ice cream doesn't seem to increase my risk factor. ;)

As we are coming into the semi annual silly season ( elections ), we will see a bunch of stupid correlations.

Just goes to show that any data can be manipulated to make ones argument. This is why I don't believe much of what "studies" show. Most studies start out with a preconceived notion and try to make the data agree with that notion. Remember the data that said cooking meat on hot iron caused cancer? Lots more that makes no sense either.

I say the government should step in and do something...like maybe spend a couple trillion on research with the object in mind of converting dairy products to bio-diesel; later we could subsidize the dairy industry and use the derived technology to eliminate the threat of dairy products and to increase our supply of diesel fuel. Darn! I should run for Congress! Not from Wisconsin maybe, but I might make it here, since we're a beef producer. Maybe, as a corollary, they could study the feasibility of capturing and compressing the bovine flatulence for use in our little Smart Cars!

I think The Gov'ment should regulate air. Obviously it is fatal to breath air. Everyone who breathes air, eventually stops breathing air. Something in the air kills all air breathers.... Just say'n.

THEY should do something...

They wouldn't have to compress it. Just capture the methane in a bag that's strapped on top of the cow. When full, strap it to the top of your car, and away you go. Might be cool if it was painted like a Holstein, with spots and such.

Well, if the milk/dio-diesel does to milk prices what ethonal did for corn, you just might win by a landslide in Wisconsin... :D

Just curious.

Do you know or have heard/read of anyone who died from being entangled in bedsheets (per the first graph)?
