Price on USED 2010 3535 with FEL

I've been on the market for a compact tractor for quite some time. Buying new is probably out of the question, but I happen to have run into a used 2010 3535 with 198 hours on it. It still has a year of factory warranty on it. It comes with a bush hog, a three pt hitch, and a scraper blade. I haven't seen it yet, as it is 3 hrs away. However, I've talked to the guy several times and the tractor appears to be in very good shape. He is asking $18k for it. Compared to a new 3535, this seems like a very good deal. However, I was looking for you guys to give some opinions on what I should offer him. I don't want low ball him but at the same time, I feel I shouldn't just jump on the asking price.

that sounds like enough of a deal as it is. Give him what he wants !

Here's the thing, the lady at my local Ag Credit union showed me the book value on a 2010 3535. The book appraised it at $9500 on the high end. Now, I'm sure that doesn't include the FEL. Lets just say that the FEL would at $3500 and that the bush hog and scraper blade adds another $2000....and that's being generous. That only sums up to $15,000.

So, despite the fact that $18k sounds like a very good deal (and it is compared to a brand new one) the appraised value is much less. But $18k is still a lot better than $25k plus tax.

If you bought it new with the fel and the other stuff, it would cost a lot more than 25k. I price a 3016 with fel and bh and it was over 25k.im sure the bigger 35 series would be even more.

I got the price down to $16,800. I think I may have a tractor in thhe near future by the way, it also has had a canopy. Installed on it.

Not a good price I just sold a 4110 with 431 hrs on it for only 13, 000

There is a huge difference in a 35 series and the 10 series.

Regardless, I passed up the deal. I went and looked a the tractor and it was in outstanding shape. It looked almost brand new. The owner only used it to scrap snow out of a sub division in north Carolina.

If anyone is looking for a practically brand new looking 3535 w/FEL, canopy, scrape blade, and brush hog for less than $17,000, let me know and I can get you in contact with the owner. 199 hours and one year of factory warranty on it.
