The loader is worth the asking price.

IU wonder how long a fellow who know the tractor would take to get it all going (sans carb)

I know it it were something fresh in my mind, it would "look" like a tractor in less than a day, (devils in the details but I sort of enjoy grubbing through trays of misc. nuts and bolts ;-)

That is so funny. "I don't need a full size tractor" ha ha ha. the guy can't get it back together, and the wife read him the riot act. "if you don't get that crap out of the garage.. yada yada yada"...

from what I can see good tires, wheel weights, loader more than covers the cost. The rest of the tractor is free. Some assembly required. After picking up yet another SOS parts tractor last week I'm sure my wife is thankful this one is not within my striking distance.

i bought a 950 semi-basket caseout of south florida on those terms. guy bought it to 'restore', caught it on fire minorly with the smash n grab wireing it had ( you had to pull the bat cable off and cram the coil wire under the post to power the points and coil!..

he applied paint stripper to most of it.. then let it set and corrode.. it had no alt or genny.. just a pulley help in place with some speaker wire to semi tension the belt.

oem rad was gone and he found a rad out of a junkyard compact car that would fit.. but couldn't connect it as the top and bottom hoses were different sizes and in different locations.. gas tank was from a vw product and TIED into the hood that had been torched out for a propane setup.. . the tie they used to suspend the gas tank was GARDEN HOSE.. the list goes on.

65% of the bolts and studs on it were broke off or striped out.

it leakes oils ( various ) and fuel .. he had it in his garage.

it had no battery ( fire ).. no gas.. and points were closed up when i went to get it.. I gapped it by eye, used the battery from my trailer winch, and added a couple quarts of gas from the can I tote with me ( standard tractor fetch kit includes air up tank for tires.. winch and bat and 5g fuel ).

started it and drove it right up on the trailer so as to not press my luck on it maybee not starting again. :)

His wife got home and saw me loading it up and was ecstatic that she got her garage back.
