2004 z-master commercial zero turn with kohler sp27 engine problem

I purchased this mower used a couple of years ago. I was mowing with it when it started losing power, and kind of spitting or lightly backfiring? I tracked it down to one side of the twin cylinder. pulled the plugs, that side was blackened up from misfiring, checked compression both sides 120 lbs, checked the ignition module on that side with normal ohm readings, so i think maybe its the spark advance module?? Anyway i checked with my local Toro dealer for the spark advance module and found out it is no longer available part #24-584-27-s. I am just wondering if there is a replacement part I can use. I know they make a digital module. Any help with this problem will be appreciated.

Could be just a bad spark plug. Before I would go changing other stuff, I would put some new plugs in both cylinders and try it. I had plugs in my boat that went bad just setting in my garage and would fire correctly intermittently and then just barely run.

I had a Toro 60" zero turn that had a Kohler engine and mine did pretty much the same thing, it was a rocker arm but that worked loose. Worth looking into
