I have a l3240 that has a speed sensor and the three wires have come out of the plug that plugs into the sensor. (was into heavy brush and it got snagged) My wires can be slipped back into the plug but I don't know which wire goes where. If you lay under the tractor the sensor is on the right side of the transmission toward the rear just before the rear axle housing. It is a sensor held in place by 1 small bolt. It has three wires going to it via plug. all I need is a left to right wire color placement. The wire harness has a black plastic protective wrap that can be pulled back and you can clearly see which wires go where. Can anyone please help me?

I think you can download a wiring diagram thru Messicks... if that helps. Might save some crawling under in the rain...

I take it you tore out the male end and the corresponding female is attached to the tractor? Can you remove the part on the tractor and open it up to view wire placement? If so you can then know where each goes on the male end.
And aren't schematics for Kbota wiring available online, or maybe someone has a service manual with the info?

I have attached the wiring diagram. Hope it helps. If not, I suggest going to your dealer and looking at one. Good luck.
