Oil & Fuel G3038 2wd transmission filter change.

I am going to change the transmisison filter. Can anyone tell me how much fluid I will lose in the process? Almost looks like under there that it could drain the entire tranny. Thank you.

Really depends on how quick you can get the new filter back on! You might lose half a quart?? It gushed out on my R3039H.

+1 you want to have a big ban under there and swap them fast. I did a fluid change of my "new to me" R3039 and let most of the fluid drain first and was still a bit shocked at the amount of fluid that make out when I went to put the new filter on.

I agree big time!!! I changed just the filter on mine and I wasn't prepared for how much oil & how fast it came out, I think I lost about 1.5 gallons before I got the new one on and sealed. Ditto on having a big pan under it and have the new one ready to go on fast!
