Proud of myself !!

This is the first year in the past five that I have not had to have stitches or a tetanus shot before June 1st. I also have not fell off any ladders, dropped anything on my own head, or suffered any injuries except for minor scrapes and bruises.

Hope I can expand my record.

Anybody else being lucky, more careful, getting older and wiser????

Knock on wood!!

I fell off a ladder a couple weeks ago, from about 7 feet up. Was shooting some caulk in a crack and bees started pouring out. I have no idea how, but I wasn't hurt a bit, not even bruises. The ladder (aluminum) looks like a mangled wreck though, so I suspect I got tangled in it and it broke my fall.

Good luck with that, but with a user name like R(i)SKY, I doubt it. Yesterday I smashed my middle right finger while fueling the Kubota. Who'da thunk it could happen just doing that.:confused3:

That's fantastic news. I've only fallen once so far this year. A rock I stepped on twisted, down I went and banged my knee on another rock. Just some skin loss and bruising. I've never in the 32 years here hurt myself really bad - i.e. needing medical attention. KNOCK ON WOOD.

I don't have any "wounds" from working on the place but the chiggers have tore me up and all I was doing was BBQing. The grill is on gravel. :shocked: The little spawns from Hades still found me.....
