Adding fluid to the rear tires will add stability, if it's not already done. Another trick to stay on side slopes is engage 4wd. I mow some so sloped that I have to use 4wd plus the rear locker to stay on course. I'd hate to go back to mowing with a 2wd outfit.

Enjoy the BX, I love my little BX1500, I haven't found myself needing more power with the 48" MMM and 42" trash mower on the back. I'd be lying though if I said I wouldn't like something newer with more power, just because

yeah the bug for newest and tweaks with bells and whistles is tempting but Happy stay happy with yours until it doesn't do what you need it to do. And I said 'need' not 'want' it to do. :laughing:

Congrats! I have a BX2350 with around 560 hard hours on it and it still works perfect. I am still amazed at the abuse it will take. The hydro transmission is very very tough.

Thanks to all. Every time I use it, I love it more. It has really improved my life by suddenly giving me MUCH more free time. I'm still amazed what a solid machine that little BX2230 is.
