Hydraulic top link and rear remote

I don't know if I would consider it a safety feature or not but I would maybe use them just to eliminate the cylinders bleeding off, I don't have a float function anyways for my rear remote.

OSHA considers the check valves a safety feature. If a hose is cut or ruptures, the attachment dose not drop to the ground.

How do you reverse positions with a check valve?

You have to overcome the check pressure.

Brian, have you sold these kits for the DK50SE? What size ram is typically used? Also in the future I want to add a remote on the front as I will be getting a grapple eventually, I like the one Coyote Machine has, I am presently going to install a second rear remote. What do I need to run hydraulics to the front, rather than run off the rear for the grapple.

Normally use a 2 1/2" dia cylinder with a 1 1/2" dia rod. Best if you follow this link to get the correct info to determine what working length is going to work best for you.

As far as the front 3rd function diverter system, that complete setup with the Scorpion control grip runs $649 delivered to your door.

Best to get the mid stroke length, fill out the contact page on the Fit Rite website and we can go from there.

Thank you for asking. ;)

I have the top link from Brian on my DK45 and it has been a really nice addition when I'm using my Bush Hog, Box Blade, or Landscape Rake. I can adjust on the fly and hooking stuff up is a lot easier also.

How are those electric joysticks for being exposed to weather? My tractor doesn't always have the luxury of a garage, I try to tarp it when I can but that doesn't always happen, I don't have a cab to protect sensitive electric stuff.

Technically my std switch is not considered weather proof. Mine has been outside for over 2 years now with out any problems, but we don't get all that much bad weather where I'm at. I wash my tractor and take no care as to keep water from my controls and have had zero issues. I can get weather proof switches for an additional $10 per switch if that is what you want.

I do not know how it works, but it works just like a cylinder without a double check valve. Except the cylinder stays in the position it is set at.
