Man Soto, it been a rough week for you on here. So far we have found out that you can't operate a tractor, you are a hazard to yourself and everone around you, and you can't weld. (Did i miss anything?) It's a surprise you are still alive if you listen to some people on here. :laughing: I enjoyed the photos, and am glad you posted them to remind us all to always be on our toes.

Not yet! And you'd be wrong. Welding is easy for me, and is easy for a lot of people.

Mike, I'm having a good old time! (outside, doing stuff). Some of the internet stuff though, kinda makes me wonder.

Gotta wonder if any Russians are on this forum they must think we're a bunch of weenies. I think it's important to see a tractor 'on the edge' especially when it's a likely scenario, it's good for discussion & learning, I always learn something. Not from everyone, but from some thoughtful folks who put time into explaining things.

Nice job, what's with the wood on the rear bumper. Is that for towing busted Arctic Cats out of the woods?:cool2:

Fred, you're sort of correct. My Arctic Cat (which I normally use to pull my trailer) busted and I had to make a wooden hitch on the Skidoo to get the trailer out.

Dude he nearly rolled his tractor with a snowmobile on the forks 5 feet in the air. Did you miss that? Lol!

Why is the loader so high. Carry your load low and get some counterweight. Good way to twist the loader arms and tractor frame.

BINGO! Never should have lifted it that high unless you store it on the roof or were trying to put it on the back of a 1 1/2 ton truck.

Well DrZ, here it is, project finished. It's not a truck but similar. The chosen shelf height = 5ft 2" and the tractor can lift to 5ft 11".

And on to the other project, which was great fun. The hill doesn't look that steep in the pic, but to get a feeling for it - with ONE finger I was able to lift the ATV's left rear tire off the ground as it was parked there in the pic. As usual, some folks are quaking in their boots while the Russians nod off :zzz::zzz:

Excavator was just, great, great fun, chewing across the hillside - can't wait to get back to it! But the trail does go uphill, pretty significant uphill, it's not level as the pic looks. The trail is barely wider than the tracks, (4ft 3")

All looking good Sodo... doesn't look like the snowmobiles are on pallets or anything. I assume you have no trouble getting the forks under the tracks? Maybe the reason for the large gaps on the shelving?
