A HARD PTO PROBLEM TO SOLVE

what else to check?

check the stump jumper or blade carrier bar connection to gearbox output down shaft.

guess it could be slipping there. but if it is. it won't slip long before it simply won't turn at all.

lastly. check the shaft conenction to that gearbox that appears to be not turning sometime.s make sure it is not a yoke to input shaft held on with a pin or bolt that is really sheared but looks intact and sometimes the yoke spins on the shaft, and galling force is all that is coupling it.

Sound guy I checked all of that; The mower is streaking on both sides. I thought that it was only on one side but I was wrong.

These are the facts:

1. The mower did not streak when I used it on another tractor.
2. I have checked all of the connections points of the mower and marked clutches to see if the clutches were slipping. No change after cutting for 2 hours, but I streaked grass the whole entire time.
3. The tractors tires are not in-line with the streaking of grass, so my tires are not pushing the grass down.
4. I replaced the pto clutches and plates=Total of 5 no change.
5. I have checked the hydraulic pressure and it is 2750 psi as my manuals dictated it should be.
6. Mower blades resharpen and no change in the mower.
7. Everything looks great under the deck, stump jumpers, etc...
8. Last but not least, I bought this mower brand new not meaning that a new mower can not develop problems but it cuts fine on another tractor with no streaking of grass.

When I title this "A Hard PTO Problem to Solve" I think everyone maybe getting the picture now that this is a difficult problem to solve and I have taken everyone advice and look at things that I did not think of and I continue to look at everything else that everyone has suggested. I wanted you to know that no one is as frustrated about this then me. So thanks to everyone who have responded and I will do my best to continue keep you posted on my findings and results.

if it is your tractor pto clutch.. take the mower into heavy brush so that you can visibly see it stall and not cut while tractor chugs along. that will be the decisive part. that or dyno test it.

Hey Soundguy, I have something better. The mower is a Landpride RC2512, if you go to their web page and look under rotary cutters you will find the RC2512 and it has the parts manual in pdf format. This mower I bought it new and this is my 3rd year with it. Started having the problems with it at the end of the grass season during the 1st year. I have taken it to two dealers and they have inspected saying nothing is wrong. They even removed the gear box covers. I have connected it to another tactor and it cuts fine like it should. I will go over it again just in case I did miss something and look for those areas that you mention. Thanks for the input cause I am taking all advice to heart. I am ceratinly puzzled about this.
Pls describe the tractor that the mower cut fine on.

Is it possible PTO speed may be a few 100 RPMs higher on other tractor ? Especially now that is streaking on both sides. A lot of trouble but make one pass with problem tractor, drop bush hog and hook up other one make pass.

Hooking to a third tractor might tell you something.

the streaking grass in the pictures above look to me like tire tracks from the tractor, the tires pus the grass down and it does not spring back up for the blades to cut it in time,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It may be one side has a higher lift type blade on it and or the rotation is opposite and show more on one side,
