What are the differences between a Spader and a Rotavator? Which one is preferred over the other and why ?

I don't know much about a spader but have heard on other threads here that they cause less trouble with hard pan build up. Tillers are a lot more popular in the USA and is what I use. Spaders use small shovels where the tillers use tines to cut through the ground.

Spaders are said to be much better for the soil, though I'm not exactly sure how. I think because they don't flip it as much.
On the other hand they have way way more moving parts and are way, way more expensive.
The people i've talked to who have them are happy with them. I'd like to try one, but not till I get a smoking deal on a used one.

Thank you for the reply bro.
We are into manufacturing of Rotavator gearboxes, i was curious that no company in India manufacturers Spaders. So as you even i have heard that spaders are useful for the soil, though i am yet not convinced why.
We are taking up project of manufacturing a Rotavator; hence i was doing the market study on Spaders as well.
