Loader hauling 1,000 lb bales with a small tractor

Thank you for the input! The straw in the bucket isn't that heavy as it is just a piece of the 1,000 lb bail. Only lifted the load for the photo. Didn't drive that way. Hooks are welded onto the bucket so the straps are not touching the bucket.

Thought it would be helpful to those who come home with 1,000 lb bails of straw. Especially if you have hooks welded to your bucket.

The pictures show otherwise....the straps are stretched tight around the edge of the bucket (well at least on the side we can see).

Why is your ROPS leaning back so far?

Consider building a guard on the top of the bucket so objects can't roll back into your lap.

It's plain to see you've never witnessed someone as I have confined to an electric wheel chair that had their spine CRUSHED from a raised rd bale that rolled back on them while sitting in the seat of a tractor! He told me he was mad at himself and wished it had never happened BUT IT WAS TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENUFF SAID!!!!!!!!!

Smaller tractor will only handle 2 but speeds things up niceley loading 900lb hay 3 at a time !

Thank you for your concerns. It would be tough for the bale to role back into the tractor as there is a 2 1/2 foot receiver welded to the bucket for moving trailers in the yard. It would have to jump over this to dump on the cab.

I had noticed that in your second photo of post one. Do you have a photo of the bucket without the bale?
