We had Line-X sprayed on the brush guard and dump box of our 2009 RTV1140. There have been threads here and there that I have seen where folks have wondered if it would work. It works. We originally were only going to have the inside of the bed done, but the paint was crummy and it needed to be sandblasted prior to the Line-X application, so I had them spray the whole thing instead of messing around with paint. The conversion between the small and large bed works flawlessly. The bottom of the bed was Line-X'ed, but not textured, so material slides out easily. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the bed floor. The noise level in the cab is noticeably less with the Line-X in the bed.

Attached are some photos.

Would you be kind enough to tell us how much it cost? I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my Kawasaki Mule 4010. Thanks!

Sandblasting was $100. This wouldn't be required for a brand new machine or paint in otherwise very good condition. Line-X for the brush guard was $60. Line-X for the whole bed was $300. Total was $460. As a reference, my pickup bed was $560 last year (6.5' Silverado) over the rails, but that was at a different Line-X dealer. The thickness and quality seem to be about the same on the RTV and Silverado which is reassuring considering the different dealers. Pricey stuff, but intend on keeping the truck for at least 7 or 8 years (2007 w/ 65k bought used in 2013) and the RTV for at least 15 years (2009 w/ 712 hrs bought in 2014).

tlj87, are the tires on your machine original equipment or did you put them on? I need tires for my Kawasaki Mule, again. Third set, they just do not last. Your tread design is not overly aggressive and looks like it might meet my needs and situation.

Those are the original tires with 744 hours! I am satisfied with them. We have gravely ground, hardly any mud. These are OTR Mag Off Road. The Carlisle All Trail is the same tread pattern and has a size that will fit your Mule.

Thanks for the information. I just ordered a set to put on my Mule.
