Stihl F94 quick review.... Didnt like

Bought a Stihl FS94 trimmer a couple weeks ago. This is the newest lightweight pro trimmer. It is Stihl's return to 2 stroke engines.

The trimmer runs very nice. Idles great. I like the shutoff switch. Has a throttle stop device to limit rpm. I could do with out that honestly.

My trimmer had a vibration in the front handle. The handle is very small and not ergonomic in my opinion. Within in a few minutes my hand was numb. And yes I had the string installed correctly.

Long story short I retuned the trimmer for a Stihl FS 100rx. So far I love it! It's 4 stroke which I prefer for low speed torque.

I have many pieces of Stihl equipment and have always been very pleased with them. Vibration isolation needs improved on the FS94.... And put a bigger handle on there with some surface area.

Thanks for the review, I wasn't aware that stihl is going back to 2 stroke. I just bought a km90 last year and love it.

I'm not sure they are going back 100% but are making some new stuff with 2 strokes. Personally I like the 4 strokes!

Thanks for the review. I have a leaf blower that is a 4 mix and I like it. I want to get a new trimmer sometime and it will be a 4 mix.

I hope Stihl continues the 4 strokes. I think a lot of people have complained about them because they were different but after owning 4 machines with Stihl 4 strokes... They are the only thing I want. I like the low speed torque especially for trimmers and pole saws.

I have used a few trimmers that were 4 stroke. They have good low end torque and are quiet. I'd like to see Stihl make a chainsaw that was a 4mix with Mtronic.
