Tow Cultipacker with hydraulic lift

Looking to make a towed Cultipacker with hyd. lift need pics of the ones that any of you built out there and what would you do different next time

My single axle cultipacker is about 10 ft wide.



Transporting it on a public road is a problem. I'd have to cut it down to about 8 ft and rig up a pair of hydraulically actuated towing wheels on the rear end. Not a big job--wheels, a hydraulic ram, some steel and your stick welder.

I have long distance to travel to much weight to be bouncing on 3 point its only going to be 5 foot but min. weight is 1000 lbs.

Public roads, trailer width limit, generally 96-102" (8-8.5 ft)depending on the state in which you're pulling.

If you live in Wisconsin, a new law (Act 377)increases the limits (height, width, length, weight) on "Instruments of Husbandry" (IoH) and establishes a new class of vehicle (Ag CMV).

Don't know if this applies to Interstate highways or only to Wisconsin state roads.
