Double Post.

Yes I have been wearing all the safety items listed and I am trying to see about sand blasting I want to get my own to have for other projects ( 1981 kubota b7100 loader backhoe) and yes I will try paint stripper at some point will it really save me that much more time? Also question new kubota orange or old

Paint stripper works pretty good. You have to time when you scrape the paint right, too soon it won't work, and too late the paint starts to harden again.

These sanblasters don't work too bad. Sears.com

I just need some help what do you restorers reccomend for paint is majic paint any good or should I just go with the kubota paint.

Also I finally got some pics of this little orange beast 33 year old

If you are going to go through all that work why not spray it? You can get a paint gun for not a whole lot of $$$$$$.

I'm not so good with the gun and also it's a farm finish for me not a full 4shorts restoration

I've used Majic paints. I think it will be fine.

I personally would disagree. (sorry GPintheMitten) I have not had much luck with the Majic paints. There is several threads on here about them if you are interested. I personally prefer the Kubota paint but there is a lot of good paints out there.
Some of the better paints will "level" out pretty well even if you brush them but the spray will do a better job. Honestly not too hard especially if you are not real worried about the finish (will save you hours)
Good luck

Okay I will look around at 90 bucks a gallon it would be nice if majic was good but if it's the best .....

Check online for a better price and really any quality auto paint will work. Valspar made some decent paint for the price (TSC used to carry it) and I am told some other retailers are carrying it - maybe someone can chime in and give you some idea where.

Good luck!
