Copperheads OH YEAH

Keith, he shot 7 in the back yard and 2 in the front, before he ran out of rat shot!

If I killed that many in my yard, I would be considering using napalm on the surrounding property. :)

My Mastiff sleeps with a possum and rat snake, they all seem to get along pretty darn well. Tuck even shares his dog food with the possum, but darned if any of the other hounds get near it, instant Mastiff growl sends them packing.

Crazy dog, he bathes the kittens, only drinks water from puddles unless they are dry..... Cray dog.

Dennis-- With the population numbers you're looking at you may want to forgo the double-tap technique an use the "one snake one bullet" method just to conserve ammo. The box I bought was 20 count. I may need to get a back up box.........I hate it when I run out of ammo.

The one I got the other morning was dead on the first shot but reflex required a second tap. Maybe if I can calm down I can train myself to use the "one shot and make it count" conservation method.

Very cool! If you could get some video of this eating and sleeping arrangement and post it to Youtube, we'd probably be seeing you and Tuck on the morning talk shows soon! Maybe the possum and rat snake too. :)

Charlie, it was my neighbors yard under attack! If I had that many in "my" yard, it would have been noisy around here, if the 12 ran out of ammo, then I would light up the AR:shocked:

Dennis- the AR would be fun. I shot 2 of the bad guys that were in our tank with my mini-14. That was fun but I don't know that I can make that shot every time.
