Mine ain't so fancy. I just picked the Pioneer up this past Saturday. The Ranger sold pretty quick on Craigslist. I had paid cash for it last year and was able to roll that cash back into the Pioneer. The stars lined up I guess, I was on a waiting list for a Pioneer and one came in plus my Ranger sold for what I wanted for it within a few days. I was able to pay cash for the Pioneer with the cash I got out of the Ranger.
Our UTV experience has been a three little bears story. Too small, too big, and HOPEFULLY the Pioneer 700-4 will be "just right"
I had a 2007 620i JD Gator. I really like that machine, my wife really liked that machine, but our family grew and 3 wasn't safe or comfortable.
So, we went large! Was looking at a 4 seat trans Mule and after driving a few ended up going with a 2013 Polaris Ranger Crew 800 instead. Had a steel cab put on it. Well, after using it a year realized it was too **** big. My wife did use the Gator daily, now she never drove the Ranger. She had trouble seeing behind it to back up, didn't like the shifter or really much of anything about it after she had used it for awhile.
Also, I rolled the Ranger on it's side in a very remote area. It was top heavy.
So, hopefully this Pioneer will be "just right". I had the dealer put on the Honda roof and front panel with glass, not poly. I haven't added anything yet, I kept my side mirrors off my Ranger to put on the Pioneer as well as a Big Sky 2 gun overhead rack I had. KFI mount and Viper winch on the way hopefully will get all that mounted this weekend.
FWIW, my bride did the test driving on the Pioneer and loved the controls, it fit her, liked driving it. So maybe we are on to something.
