Hi. I have a 2001 TC25D and want to change the clutch oil per the Owners Manual. I am unable to find the housing shown in the Owners Manual; do I have to take something apart and get inside the tractor to find this small housing clutch fluid housing?

Thanks for any help finding this reservoir.

What is clutch oil? do you have HST transmission? it appears you have manual transmission. I don't believe they have multi-disk wet clutch for your size of the rig.

JC,

This tractor has a HST. The clutch disengages the PTOs and HST driveline.

I let others response as most hst Tractors do have dry mechanical clutch. clutch housing always is between engine and transmission.

The clutch that you use your left foot with is a dry clutch like what is on a older truck....no oil. If your owners manual is like mine, the clutch that they are talking about in figure 3-3 is the 4x4 front driveshaft clutch. In the drawing 3-25, they are showing the little coolant drain on the right side of the engine block, the clutch is right below it in the drawing. There is linkage going to it to put the tractor into 4x4. I hope this helps.

I am watching this with interest, as I have the same model tractor. There seem to be few of us here.

The fill plug is on the left side of the tractor and the 4x4 front drive shaft "clutch" unit is right under the engine.

The 4x4 makes sense, but I am still not finding the housing shown in the diagram. The 4x4 shift lever is on the left side and goes into the main tranmission case, but I don't see any linkages once it goes inside and there is no structure below the radiator drain that looks like the image in the book. My tractor is fitted with a NH quick detach loader, not sure if they changed something due to that configuration. Will keep searching for it. Thanks for the clues!

Look at this picture of a TC33d and locate the exhaust outlet. Below that you see 4 silver bolts. Below the bolts is the clutch that is below the engine.
