Don't be misled by those that don't know.

If you have the proper tools you can do it, but it is best left to a professional with the correct equipment to get the job done.

The angle on the teeth is different for different material.

You can sharpen a carbide blade with a green stone or a diamond wheel.

So about $20 to sharpen, that beats $70 for new, sounds like its worth saving up my cold cut blades (if they still have teeth).

Eastside Saw on Bell-Red

Excellent. Decided to just pick up the phone on this one.

Emerald Tool (Seattle, WA) charges $18.50 for 14" cold cut blade, no minimums. Didn't ask about re-tooth.
Eastside (Bellevue, WA) charges $22.50. If carbides are chipped or missing then Eastside charges $42 for "retooth", blade good as new.

This is good news, I have several dull blades. And good news for anybody who lends out their cold cut saw, give borrower a dull blade and go sharpen it y'self.
