Yep, that is the exact same setup as the 4035. Try tightening the bolt on the hook a little bit. If I'm not mistaken it is fitted with a friction washer of sorts and can be tightened or loosened for proper operation.

Hmmm... I will look at and try that. Although, it doesn't move very easily now. Kind of surprises that it comes loose - but the lever itself is actually being pulled slightly sideways into the hook - so it has motive to get out. But, I will try tightening - maybe just a bit more will do it without it being too hard. I thought about grinding it out into an actual arc instead of the V cut they have in the hook - maybe if it sat down in the hook better it wouldn't get out.

Hey, you're in Fairmont - that's not too far away! Did you get yours from the Dealer over by the Mall?

I assume you know where I am - about 30 miles directly north of Elkins.

:)

Yea, I know exactly where Parsons is. My sister lives in Belington and I do some work as far south as Buckhannon. I always love seeing a fellow Mountaineer in here.

I helped pay for the new place by the mall, I bought mine from them when they were over on Route 19 by the old UHC. Good bunch of fellas for the most part, I've had no issues with them. At times I don't think they are 100% up to date on every change of every model. When I had to replace a fuel line under warranty I had mentioned that I had heard there was an updated part and they said "No, I don't think so. We just fix the old part and go on." upon showing them on the 4035 they had in stock which part I needed, the tractor on the lot HAD the updated part and I said "see, that's exactly what I want". 3 days later (day before the 4th of July) they had it in stock for me.

Looking good! I have a 4035 with the 485 backhoe. I was wondering if you could tell me the brand and model number of the thumb you got. I haven't had much luck finding one. Thanks.
