Comparison Is the MX 5200 worth the extra $4000 Compared to the MX 5100 ?

Agree with the others, I had an L5030 and it is as good as the MX5100 and a plus for some has no turbo. As to the 5100 vs 5200, I'd get the 5100.

Was just looking for a little input . The 5030 is a great tractor and does all I need to do. Just looking to update. The 5030 is 10 yrs. old Just didn't know if there was any differace in the 5100 to to the 5200 besides the Tier 4 motor. And yes I am staying with the hydro.

I think I would stay with the L5030 and save some money. One of my most used tractors is 40 years old. Not much has changed since your 10 year old machine was made from a capability standpoint. If it is lacking SSQA or something, you can after market those.

I'll agree with the others, I'd stay with what you've got, but that's just me. If you just want to update, though, I'd go for the 5100 now or wait a couple years to see how the tier 4 stuff pans out. You don't see many guys with 10-20 year old diesel trucks lining up for the new models. The older Cummins and powerstrokes are holding their value really well right now.

Well , Did it the MX 5200 is on it's way with a LP stone bucket and clam. Thanks for the input, 0 % with $ 1000 Rebate . (The used MX 5100 with 22 Hrs. was 3000 cheaper but 6 % interest on the loan. ) Traded for $18600.

Sometimes that interest rate sort of kills the used "value" a bit. Congrats on your new tractor!
