My guess is it can't. He doesn't say he swapped the trans, and the info on the placard doesn't mention it either, So my guess is he just adapted the V8 to the existing trans. The original 1936 tractor topped out at 1200 rpm and that is what that V8 sounds like it idles at.

Original trans was geared at 1 -2.3 mph 2 - 2.8 3 -3.3 4- 3.8 Your avg turn plow from the 40's was designed to be pulled between 3-4 mph which for most ground condition was likely 3rd gear.
SO ballpark 1000rpm at 3.3mph in third.... 1st is about 40% (slower) so that only puts you at 1400 rpm in 1st gear to do 3.3 mph. assume you pull that 2 bottom "fast" at 5mph you might be able to get that big V8 up to a whopping 2300 rpm.

At 2300 rpm you'd burn the clutch up trying to slip it enough to keep the RPM up high enough to get that 2 bottom started without stalling it.

Sad to say. Sound cool, but it truly is nothing more than a rolling billboard.
