The Massey tractors are sharp and I have a soft spot for them. We have had a few different ones over the years and they served us well. Never thought I would give a thumbs up for a foreign brand but I got to give credit where credit is due. When allot of people think compact they think Kubota. Kubota was one of the most popular in US years ago and still is today. Like others stated there all pretty much using foreign parts these day including the US brands such as Deere, CaseIH/New Holland, & Agco (Massey Ferguson)?

Sharp Kioti!

Kioti is the second best selling CUT to Kubota. Deere is number three and Massey number 4.

Whatever you buy, I'd only look at the top four so as to grab the attention of the largest audience.

Personally, I shopped all 60ish hp HST tractors available this spring and purchased a Kioti NX6010 with every available factory option. As I saw it, the Kioti had the nicest cab layout and the tractor was nearly $20,000 less than a Deere 4066R, $15,000 less than a Kubota L6060, about $7,000 less than Massey's MF1758. It was more than the Mahindra 6010, but the Mahindra struggled to start in freezing weather and one of the vents fell off in my hand when I attempted to adjust it. The downside, the Kioti doesn't offer all of the options other marques offer, but for you guys, that in itself may be a feature!

I Did not shop the 50hp CVT tractors offered from CASE and New Holland, but would have if they offered a 60ish hp CVT.

Since the NX6010 is CAT 1/2 with everything sized for CAT 2, I mounted a SpeeCo CAT2 Quick Hitch to be used with my Woods BB720X BrushBull. Everything is adjustable and I got mine with three sets of rear-mounted remotes.

Yea, Japan and Korea each have their showing in the vids, so does an old American Ford in one or two if I remember right... Is it time for an Indian model of some sort?

I think it is about typical. My M&M was built in India, using old IH axle and gearbox designs, old Perkins engine design, topped with Bosch injection and emissions, KWM loader. The number of various "Made In" labels and stamps on parts is mindboggling...

A gig against the Massey is that the rear fenders are not wide and flat like Kioti's NX series, that allow the rear fenders to be used and shelving units and tool holders under the universal rule of no flat surface stays clean in the garage.

Ah ... But there are flat surfaces! On the rear of the fenders, behind the corner glass ... perfect size to hold tools & such while working !

Another plus for the Massey ... the diesel sounds really nice. Maybe we should start a "vote for which tractor sounds the best" thread ?!

While I love my Kioti, I think the Massey's are the most drop dead pretty tractors of all. I vote for the Massey for their new demo tractor.

Massey is not a big player in my area. The only Massey dealer I know of around here looks like they could be selling discount furniture soon instead of tractors.

There could be another one I haven't found, but the lack of dealers was why I never considered Massey when I was tractor shopping.
