Hey, JetDriver-- one of our "Short-Wing" forum members is from up your way, I think also flies CRJs. He had a Tri-Pacer (IIRC), but a friend broke it during a rough landing and he's just recently finished getting a Pacer (tail-dragger version) in the air. Past president of our Short-Wing Piper Club, from Horsehoe Valley, ONT. His "new" plane turned out very nicely, indeed. You guys must pass each other on occasion!

Private pilot, haven't flown for about four years. C150/152/172/182, PA-28 and PA-32-300. Miss it a lot, I really enjoyed the cross country part of it. Loved planning the flights. A lot of fun to visit friends and family out of state. Got as far as the ground portion of my instrument rating. Every time a plane flies over, I just sigh and daydream.

Would you be talking about Peter Lubig? He own's a tri-pacer. Not a lot of them out there!

Yes... There are some good times with it. For sure. Airline flying gets a little ... Bla sometimes.
Are you going to get back at it one day? It sure is an expensive hobby!!

I learned to fly, so I could go OVER the water.

I'll pass on landing in it. At least on purpose.

I work Airfield Maintenance at a small regional airport. I get a front row seat to watch aircraft every day! :thumbsup:
