Okay Dokey, I am sure some of you are aware of the contentious thread going on now about the idea of leaving your hitch ball in place behind your vehicle, with some participants pretty much against it. Boy I wonder what they would say about leaving one of those things attached to your 2 inch reciever?

Might get yelled at a few times, especially if you try to drive off while passer by is using it! lol

There is an Episode of TOP GEAR (English/UK one) they were driving to North Pole & the big Guy was setting on one while Capt Slow drove off with him yelling! lol

On other note, took mom to Walmart (she was maybe 70~75yrs old at time) walked around a high setting truck and caught her shin (just under knee) tore off about 4"x1" of skin on the dang hitch sticking out. I pulled hitch off and tossed hitch into bed of truck felt like throwing it thru his window... 2 Fin seconds to pull that hitch...

I took her to doctor right after getting the bleeding stopped & they had to sew it back onto her! It was still half un healed when she passed away at 82! That sh-- stuff is no joking matter! This guys hitch stick out 18" & had very sharp edges on it.

I spent 30 years repairing condos that didn't always have facilities. I carried jars with lids that sealed and used the meter room before taking it out side to pour into a storm drain. For more serious work, I used a one gallon paint can, sealed it with the lid and dropped it into the dumpster. Always carried a roll of shop towells.

I learned long ago working on job sites to not open those paint cans.

When out in the field, I always carry a roll of toilet paper in the tractor and do a farmers squat. If you are good at it, wiping is optional.
