53 right now, high of 83 predicted and clear today. Looks like rain for the weekend.

The z920A zero-turn was delivered yesterday. Boy, it's fast! I hope I don't do too much destruction before I learn how to operate it.

Boy, my place is staring to look like a Deere dealership!

66 damp degrees this morning rain today maybe up to one inch possible high maybe 70 later. Our part of the state really needs this rain so that is good. August is the best time around here to aerate the yard and overseed so guess in a week or so will get busy on that. Several jobs to look at today and the like. Roy you will really like the Z-Turn very fast and nice smooth cut. Grass likes to accumulate under the deck so good idea to keep it cleaned out. Pam works well to keep it from sticking or Deere sells a graphite paint that can be applied under the deck that works well also and is more permeant

First cup of coffee has been drank. 55° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 80° with thunderstorms this afternoon. My wife was watching me put tools away from my chip project on Wednesday. She ask why don't you trim the trees back that hit motorhome when coming up and down drive. Off I went trimming this and that tree along drive and route to RV pad. At 3:00 I finally gave up. Still some trimmings laying on ground. BUT, today I am going to sit back and watch them wilt in the sun.

This weather is astonishing for the end of July in Northern Virginia (aka Humidastan in the summer). The windows have not been shut, nor the AC even turned on in well over 36 hours... Amazing... I cannot believe it is almost August.

I'm struggling with the calendar a lot it seems lately... I can't believe I still don't have a job lined up, my first court date is approaching (as my money vanishes into the abyss of lawyers fees) and candidly there is no progress on that front either (and the court date is not for any final resolution either).

I'm tired of being in limbo, tired of fighting away depression and despair, etc.

Sorry guys, I'm sure you are all tired of seeing my moaning & groaning & complaints as well.

I've been thinking about this "100 happy days" I see people on my Facebook use. Fake it until I make it, right?

Anyone know how long this amazing polar blast will last?

Yes, you just fake it until you make it. Keep putting one foot in front of the other until things improve. They will but you just don't think so at the moment. All of us have gone through these things and I'd say every one of us is better for the experience and we came out far better for it. I would not have been in the good situation I'm in if I had not walked through the fire that I surely didn't want to nearly 40 years ago.

This too shall pass, you can count on it. It's all part of a master plan to prepare you for a whole new set of experiences that we fully expect to read about in these pages.

Good morning! 77˚ heading to the 90's, no rain as this cold front blew in last night. Looks like we will be about 10˚ below normal for a few days - love it! North and East Texas got the soakings. Today I'll install a point of service tankless hot water heater under the sink in the shack in the back.

Larro, looks like your mother got timely good help, hope her recovery is a breeze.

David, hopefully the faking will eventually turn to reality. You CAN make it, Look at what you have not what you have not.

Good morning all, 61F heading to 81F with a 70% chance of thunderstorms. Got another 8 bags of garbage out of the attic and to the road for pickup today. Some lady is suppose to come Saturday and pickup the rest of the stuff from the yard sale. Will be nice to be able to put the cars back into the garage.

69 heading to only 79. Rain is here already - didn't expect it until last night, so I kept painting outside until almost sundown. I went out and checked it this morning and feels dry, and fortunately it is under a big overhang and the rain is light showers.

Larro, good news your mom is recovering.

Roy, that ztr looks fast. I'll have to look into those when my riding mower dies.
