win phone 8.1 problems? post them here

I'm anxiously awaiting the 8.1 update for my HTC 8x. I didn't jump to the developer preview (I'm a developer) for the exact reasons you mentioned, as it will void the warranty. I can't be without my phone as it is my work and personal phone, so hopefully the update doesn't brick my phone when I finally have the option to install it.

Just got the notification on my 920 for the 8.1 update. Hopefully updating from developer preview will not result in the brick-action of some others.

It is just another DP update to "add folders on the start screen, allow selecting multiple text messages, and more..."

That is the 8.1 Update that was just released. So, an update to the update.

get this.

go the wifes warrnty phone in today. restred MOST of her stuff from the cloud.

phone wants to update. updated it. igrabbed aPATCH to win 8.0 that makes updating to 8.1 'EASIER'

I.. nokia is aware that their are problems with a straight 8.0 to 8.1 migration and now tey are preatching to try to keep from borking pones and main attrctive 525$ bricks.


i just did the prepatch.. and judgin by the size of this nex update.. i bet 8.1 is comming down the pipe now.

taking bets as to see if it will bork this brand new out of the box phone!!
