You are excited and I guess I don't blame you. It's different than Xmas because you know what you are getting! I hope the jacket fits, and it and the helmet, and bag are decent quality. Otherwise... do you get any wire? Probably going to have to go out and buy a big spool as I did (Lincoln .030 wire at HD). I opted for the compatible Spool gun with my rebate. The rest I purchased locally at either HF or LWS.

Doo rag is $7.00, duffle bag $48.00, mig/stick gloves $10.00, leather gloves $20.00, glasses $3.00. Granted these are all retail prices. Amazon has the package for $259.00.

I don't know, the bags kinda cool, the helmet I don't need, but backup? Not sure on quality

Can you get a spool gun with the rebate? Just wondering if you want to play with aluminum at some point. I haven't used mine but I figured I should get it when it's sort of free! :laughing: I figured I would start practicing on aluminum on some rainy day in the winter and wanted to have it all in hand.

Well I guess then the gear package seems most attractive. A spare helmet, nice bag, jacket, gloves you will all use I would guess vs. $100? How much is the spool gun? Could put the money toward that if the gear package isn't useful. I tend to lean toward what is useful... although I did buy a 'silly' Seahawk hard hat at my LWS that will only be worn on Sundays and rarely. :laughing:
