Shield Arc posted some pictures a few days ago and I spotted a slight mistake that even Shield Arc didn't notice. I figured if someone else noticed it they should be rewarded with a welding lesson. Maybe mis-labeled is a better term. Maybe Shield Arc will spot it now.

Well, I guess you qualified for a free welding lesson, yourself.
You're on vacation while between jobs, so go for it.

In an effort to learn something new I have looked at the pictures trying to see what you are talking about.

I know little to nothing about MIG wire. A little research makes me think that 21B wire is Fabshield 21B from Hobart and it is in a Lincoln box not a Hobart box.
I did learn that there is a 6P+ where I only knew of 5P+ before so I learned that detail. Thanks

Furu wins!:cool2: Head on over to Shields laboratory. 21B is Hobart flux-core not Lincoln and Shield Arc prefers it over Lincoln NR 211. Lincoln has a bunch of P+ rods now. I think there's an 8P+ too. I'd love to get some 1 on 1 in Shield Arc's shop. I've seen his work... and most of his toys. We could build a pretty insane bomb shelter together.;)

I thoroughly have enjoyed my visits and learning at his hand. I will never be as good as I would like to be but with his help I have progressed far further than I would ever have gotten on my own learning by trial and error or even a multi-student class. He is a phenomenal teacher and I do indeed need to get back over for another visit. (just wish it was not so far)

Thanks for the challenge. I learned just from that alone. Never stop learning, never be satisfied with where your skills are. You can always be better.
