It was heavily criticized...
The only possible criticism is an observation that the circumstance of the cut is ideal. Getting the hinge just right did not require overcoming hardship.It was criticized because most folks couldn't fell a Christmas tree within 90 degrees of where they want it to fall, let alone a real tree!! :laughing:

You forgot to post the link to the video.....I dropped a 92 ft maple today (measured)
It hit EXACTLY where it was meant to. And it was a leaner to begin with. Had to get it to turn about 30 degrees on the way down so branches would clear. Did that too.
Not so hard....even if I was sweating bullets ;-)
