Got my new Braber Equipment/Agri-Ease quick hitch the other day. Went this brand because my dealer sells quite a few and they are exactly half the price of the big name brand ones. It also has the adjustable top link.

Thing that confuses me is their description and that of my Land Pride implements say they are all compatible and no bushings required but as you can see I need them for the bottom link pins. I did get one set with the QH but they can't be used with the clevis type pins on my box blade.

The hitch is the QH1G and it and all my implements are Cat 1.

I have the Landpride QH and bushings are required for all the lower pins. They look like the ones you have but without the shoulder or the hole through them for the roll pin. Landpride makes the bushings in a few different lengths for different implements.

Ok, thanks newtattoobob. Wasn't sure if I was missing something? I got more of those bushings from my dealer, but have to get shorter, 2 inch long ones for my box blade. Guess it doesn't matter if I put the roll pins in or not?

I have a "Speeco QH" and put bushings on all my implements to get them to Cat 3 size and they fit nicely on the QH. You can buy the bushings at TSC.

Thanks for the replies. I never thought of TSC. My dealer was out of those ones I need for the clevis type pins in my box blade.
If TSC in town doesn't have them, I will have to order.

I recommend you pick up enough bushings to have an extra set of each make sure you get the top bushings as well. Another thing to keep in mind when looking for the top bushings is that not every vendor has cat 1 to cat 3 top bushings which I prefer. Most of these vendors will have cat 1 to cat2 bushings and cat 2 to cat 3 so you can stack them and get to the size you need. On some older implements you may find that welding in a solid piece of a cat 3 top pin will solve the issue and replace a piece of flat bar that might be in the way of using the hook. Many of the newer implements have the cat 3 size top bushing in place such as your box blade, most older implements do not.

Hope some of this helps you get your implements fitted up, a quick hitch properly fitted to your implements means you can change them on a whim.

I have 1 set of clevis type 1 to 2 & 2 to 3s that are messed up. Tolerances were off & they only went together half way. No amount of lube, heat or using a vise as a press can finish the job. They are permently stuck half way together now. May end up picking up a 20 ton press some day & giving it another shot.

You can run implements without the bushings in many cases, but things work & wear better with them. The bushings on the bottom of my KK2 tiller make the QH hooks hit the tiller frame so I can't hitch it up. Its run fine without the bushings albeit jumping & rattling in hard ground a bit more than it would otherwise.

You may regret this with time, if you have the linkage loose enough to move it can put a lot of wear on the pto shaft assembly. I know because it happened to me, wallowed out the keeper for the coupler on the tiller end of the shaft. $500 for a new shaft with clutch.

Quite possibly. Fixing things by extending the clevises, doing something to the tiller frame or trimming the QH hooks is on my to do list one of these days. I have the top bushing in place & don't see the tiller moving much in relation to the QH, 1/2" tops, so I don't think its stressing the PTO much, especially compared to normal 3pt lifting & lowering operations. Will keep an eye on it though.
