Jokers and Judges have run some of the best folks off of forums I visit. Internet cowboys gang up on a guy for one misstep or bad remark and it snowballs. Often the guy who goes is and esteemed member who gets a bellyful of criticism from those who don't read a whole thread and just join the party at the peak of folly. Calling him thin-skinned doesn't help, & I've been on both sides of that. Everyone loses.

shield was starting to get some grief from people on this thread which I couldn't understand (bless him for being as patient as he has)
I myself don't comment as much as I use to because of all the negativity in recent months
I don't know why people have to be so rude on a site that is here to help each other
I do hope shield comes back as I always liked what he had to say and his knowledge would be forever missed

My only knowledge of SA was from this thread and he seemed like an infinitely patient man to put up with what he did. However following some of the links about the conditions around his leaving TBN, I now wonder if there isn't more to the neighbor story than he'd been telling us. Not that what she did is at all excusable, but it does make me wonder if some of his personality traits that he showed in other parts of of TBN (but not on this thread), might have aggravated the situation.

I don't know, but this is an internet site, and most times, one is privy to one side of the story only. One *must* have an open mind digesting the information presented accordingly.
