where do i see the engine code?

No I did not see a plate with the serial number, but I did get the rear steering to work, I traced the wires to the solenoid a, and a mouse had a nest in there and chewed the wire!
So on to my next problem, my oil pan leaks at the bottom corner and bobcat wants 340.00 for the oil pan plus 30 for the gasket.

Does anyone know if I can get the oil pan from kubota? It is a kubota engine isn't it?
Or if someone has a part number for it, the dealer needs the serial number from it to order the pan

can i get the oil pan off without lifting the engine?
it looks like part of the frame covers the back bolts. any ideas?

It looks like part of the frame blocks the bolts on the back of the oil pan

Loose connection somewhere. Could be @ switch, fan, relay, fuse. Inspect each and try wiggling the wires, with fan running, close to them to see if you can make it shut off.

Finally repaired my 5600 after a lot of head banging on the wall. The starter and fuel shut off wouldn't work. Found that it was a wire between the ignition switch and the controller. Got that new controller for nothing SSdoxie. So it is for sale. Then the boom got lazy and the toolcat wouldn't move at all. Realized that the charge pump wasn't giving any pressure. Found out a piece was missing on the charge relief valve. After all that fun, i took care of that fwd and aft movement that wasn't present. One the the wire on the fwd reverse coil was broken. Now waiting for parts to arrive to finish all those snag. So one coil at 400$ and the relief valve at 350$. Thank you Bobcat for those cheap prices.
