I checked each of the three relays starting on the right side of the tractor, 70A. All showed 93.8 Ohms between the 85 and 86 pins and all clicked when 12 V was applied between 85 and 86. I am also thinking the cruise module is defective. Is there anything else I can simply test before ordering one? Is there anything the Kioti dealer can check? The module number is T4157 6___ 2 with the middle numbers scratched off

I can't think of anything. take the module with you to the dealer. It is kind of a $130 crap shoot at this point. Let us know how it turns out.

We know the cruise module has a problem because you don't get a neutral light with known correct voltages coming from the potentiometer and known power and ground at the cruise unit. If it were me, this would be enough to buy a new cruise unit and try it. It's possible (but unlikely) that there is a bad wire, diode, or connection at the cruise unit.

The only other thing I'd consider doing is jumpering the ground side of the relay coil to ground and see if it cranks (to bypass the neutral-safety function). If that works you can jumper a ground to the associated wire at the cruise control and see if it cranks. It may be hard to identify the correct wire at the cruise connector; I think the schematic says that wire is BLU/RED and marked "key switch input" but it's pretty blurry so I'm not sure.

I was thinking the exact same way.

I have jumped the starter relay with a screwdriver and it started and ran fine. That is how I got it back into the hay barn. I don't think it is the starter switch since the battery and rear diff lock lights come on when the key is turned to run or start and the glow plug light comes on when the key is turned to that position. The serial number of the module seems to be similar to but different than the Kioti module number. I will take it out and try to recover the numbers and take it to the dealler

I took the module to the Bobcat dealer since the part number T4157 68603 was different from the Kioti part number. The Bobcat has the seat switch with parking brake & neutral allowing the engine to run. Since it was a Bobcat part it will be $170+. Hope it was what was wrong.
