Barlow's gave me a good price on the 4060 and that is the one I went with. I feel allot better going with the larger tractor.

Congrats. I'd be interested in knowing how the backhoe compares to the L3800.

I will have to remind Steve to do that. Good thinking. Yes, I am real antsy. I've been looking around the Kubota website looking at pics. I just download the Grand Brochure to read. :) The weather will be getting ugly in the next few months, so I want to use the new tractor. Although, if we have a bad winter, that could be a good thing. :)

Since I couldn't afford the cab feature, I need to figure a way to put some protect around the drivers seat from the cold wind using the Canopy supports. Something clear obviously.

It's good you feel better. Equate hp not to power but to speed. Not sure how you use your tractor but things like mowing or road travel or pto usage is where hp can make more of a difference. Back hoeing, pulling logs. moving snow, etc, rely more on weight, traction or pump size. In other words a 30 hp tractor that weighs 4000# will do the same kind of work a 40hp tractor will do also at 4000# if doing slow, "grunt" type of work. Using the pto or speed work is where more hp, weight for weight comes into play. Also, if the tractor is an hst, and frame size is equivalent between two tractors, get the larger hp for what you'd lose with hst.
