New thumb for the 110 TLB

I've been wanting a hydro thumb for years and came real close to adding one to my 448 with the MIE kit.
After getting the 110 TLB I found myself working with rock walls frequently. So I decided to pull the trigger, I looked at few different manufactures but decided the best product was from Northsaw/Fierro welding and fabrication. Donn was fantastic to deal with and had it at my door in less than a week. Would highly recommend Donn for anyone looking for a thumb.:thumbsup:

The design and fitment is as good or better than the factory unit. The paint was more Cat yellow than Deere yellow so I repainted it before install.
A local welding shop(Melting Point) was awesome and came by early Saturday AM to weld up the cylinder mount, at an extremely reasonable cost.

Congrats on the purchase! Would love to get a review after a month (or so of use). May I ask what specifically made you decide on the northsaw, over the MIE thumb, especially since (my understanding is) the MIE is considerably less expense? Any tips, or things to have around for installation, besides some deere paint?

That's a sweet addition to your 110, Matt. I think you're gonna wonder how you ever, ever did without one before! A "fashion diva" that likes crawlin' around on greasy machines... oh man; wait another 10 years!!! Your front porch is gonna need new stairs from all the boys knockin' on the door!

Looks good. I have a110 also ; Looks like something I might need some day what was the cost.

Won't need chair, more likely shotgun shells though. I've got another one 16 months behind her that's even more of a hands dirty diva.

I'm gonna need a man cave soon.
