Hmmm. Not much to go on. What engine is it? There is a discussion on this at: How to: Convert ONAN CCK & MCCK 6.5KW to OEM Electronic Ignition - SmokStak

It is instructive as to what is involved, but without some specifics I couldn't guess if it can be done, and what it would cost...

My air products welder with onan gas engine here's all I've got AP-200MG 60CCK-331E752891 serial 0470209494 120 volt 3.5kw@100% duty cycle 60 cycle@1800rpm 12volt this is all I've got on the tag I do know the starter is built in generator I'm wanting get this thing up and going
