Very nice, I was trenching through the mud this weekend, some fenders would have been nice!
Pretty neat.
My NX has what appears to be a different set up with four easy bolts to use on each side. I could fab up the mounts and then use something like a 15" trailer fender and cut it down to size and anneal the edges to keep the plastic from splitting.
I don't think I'll be using my tractor this winter though so my immediate need for front fenders won't be until 2015 winter (I hope) giving me a long time to think about my fender solution.
Eric, if you're not going to use your tractor this winter, does that mean you won't be updating your "My NX6010 thread"? How will I continue learn creative ways to upgrade my tractor, and fix it when stuff goes wrong?![]()
Unless you want me to share non tractor tech-tips, like how to rapidly cool a bottle of wine down.
Ya know Eric, I was sent up to your neck of the woods by the Military one winter. It was quite a shock as I was living in Miami at the time.... I can understand why you might be stayin' inside and tossing down a few. I think my drink of choice however might be sumthin' I could add to coffee...:licking:
Camp Ripley for winter training?
Michigan Iron and equipment located in morrice Mi.fabbed my fenders. They were a easy install and have no obstructions when turning. These would be awesome, my cab gets covered by salt in the winter.
I tried to make some myself then realized that I only have 3/4" between the tire and the dipstick when the wheel is cranked all the way to the right and the axle tilted all the way up.
Did you add in/adjust any bump stops?
