I have a Kubota B7001D and have been thinking about getting a bigger compact such as the L1802DT... does anyone know if this is a significant increase in power , I am mainly using it to tow a 3T muck trailer and the B7001D struggles a bit , but not sure if the L1802DT would also be under powered... Any thoughts?

Don't know the h.p. of the two units but when towing weight is your friend.

Those are both pretty small tractors for the weight you are towing. I think the L model you mentioned is slightly larger and would have had about 10 percent more power when new. However, since those are both tractors from the 1980's or earlier, one or both of them may be a bit old and tired by now. If it's yours that is showing its age and the other one is in better shape, it might make the replacement worth considering.
