Got this crazy FEL attachment idea

I have a HST JD 4100 4wd. This idea is for one attached to the FEL. Kinda like the ditch ones..I saw one overseas on a HST and it did very well in hard soil..

unless one has creeper gearing in the tractor will not work very well you will over whelm the trencher,

I have a add on trencher made by auburn trenchers, they sold a transmission that one would split the tractor and add, (I did not have the tractor it come off of thus not a very good set up, made them for jeeps as well,

I did set up a creeper drive with some extra wheels but I can not get enough traction to move both the trencher and the tractor at times,

A ditcher will vibrate quite a bit as it hits stones. It could be hard on the fel arms.

and how to get the PTO shaft to the front ?? better use the rear 3pt.

Put a hydraulic motor on the trencher and a hydraulic pump on the PTO to power it if the tractor doesn't have enough hydraulics to run it. Then you can put the trencher on the FEL arms and move it any way you want. No PTO shaft needed.

use your brain Renze..my statement of powering of pto means " power provided by a hydraulic pump from the pto..how else woudl U use it..it would need something that would allow the FEL to work..which means flexible hydraulic lines.. MossRoad are you still laughing too"?

No. I'm not laughing at all. It was a legitimate question for someone that might not have known about the hydraulic option.

I have modified them to work on minix's along with adjustable scraper blades both with QD attachments. They use them for irrigation on slopes that would not be safe with conventional trenchers.

MossBerg.. I made my statement due to my Dutch Family members over there. They were taught to figure out every possible way of doing something before commenting.. in other words.. OH I had a question but I now see how you would do this
